The hexagonal feeder base has a beige colored finish, and each of the six openings has a green colored landing platform, so your songbirds may easily reach the seed. The steeply pointed metal roof keeps the seed protected from moisture, while gold colored rods between the panels and at the bottom of the rof add more color. A gold colored finial tops the piece for a finishing touch.
The large base and multiple openings allow for more birds, translating to more bird watching for you! Can be mounted or hung. The platform holds up to 1.75 quarts of sunflower, safflower, or mixed seed, and can also accommodate fruit, a suet cake, or mealworms for more selective bird feeding. Use the attached metal ring to hang this item from a hook or bracket, or post mount it using a mounting bracket (not included).
