Second Nature products are made from recycled material like #2 milk jugs. The plastic (polyethylene) is ground and reformed, cut, routed, and reassembled into bird feeding equipment that is easy to clean, guaranteed not to split, crack or fade. Approximately 70 milk jugs were used to manufacture this feeder and seed catcher. Recycled plastic feeders will last a lifetime!
The Ultimate Bird Feeder System has it all, includes Hopper Feeder, Seed Catcher and 60" Pole with Mounting Flanges and Squirrel Baffle!
The SN4-200S bird feeder is a recycled 3 quart, 4 sided hopper feeder. This hopper style feeder has poly-lumber taupe base, green roof, removable seed tray and 4 acrylic panels.
The SNSC-300 is a recycled seed catcher with two removable screens. Seed Catcher has poly-lumber taupe sides, removable seed trays.
Hopper Feeder and Seed Catcher uses 5/8" poly-lumber made from recycled plastic jugs. Lifetime guarantee to never crack split or fade. All screwed construction using stainless steel screws and fully routed edges.
The Complete Pole System contains all the good quality parts needed to mount a bird feeder and seed catcher platform along with the squirrel baffle. This is a heavy duty 60" pole system with 2 Mounting Flanges, In-Ground Twister Auger for easy installation, and Cylinder Squirrel Pole Baffle.

Installation Instructions
The components that make up the Second Nature Ultimate Bird Feeder System are all designed to work together. This package includes our Complete Pole System with In-Ground Twist Auger, 2 Mounting Flanges and Squirrel Baffle, #SNSC-300 Second Nature Recycled Plastic 21-1/2" x 21-1/2" Seed Catcher Platform, and #SN4-200S Second Nature 3 Qt. 4-Sided Hopper Feeder. Requires drill and screw driver for easy installation.
The Complete Pole System is installed first. Decide where you want to place the bird feeding system. Dig a shallow "starter" hole to begin installing the In-Ground Twist Auger. The twist auger has two sets of "turning" holes in the pipe for inserting a rod or large screw driver to twist the auger pipe into the ground. Twist the auger pipe section into the ground until the lip flange on the pipe is right at ground level. The pipe section with holes above the lip should be above ground. You then add the three pole sections. The pole sections have swedges and are designed to fit snuggly together.
Next add the squirrel baffle. This should be located approximately 4-8" below the seed catcher platform. The baffle sets over the collar hardware that prevents it from sliding down the pole. You can reposition the baffle below the seed catcher simply by moving the collar hardware on the pole up or down.
The pole system comes with two mounting flanges. The mounting flange with hole should be attached with included screws to the bottom of the seed catcher platform over the center "pole" hole. The entire platform can now be placed over the pole about 8-12 inches from the top. Secure the mounting flange to the pole by tightening the thumb screw.
The second mounting flange should be attached with included screws to the bottom of the Hopper Feeder. It then is mounted to the top of the pole and the flange thumb screw is tightened securing the unit to the pole. Both the hopper feeder and seed catcher platform can be removed from the pole when necessary for cleaning and/or moving.
