This sturdy feeder provides a safe haven for small songbirds, allowing them to dine without squirrels. The 1.375" fencing creates perching for lots of small songbirds while preventing squirrels and larger birds from feeding. The feeder tube is made of durable polycarbonate plastic that is perfect for 1 quart of sunflower seed or mixed seed. The six reinforced feeder ports have individual perches, offering a convenient resting or dining spot. The flow-through base prevents seed from collecting, so that squirrels are not enticed to cling and feed. The large metal roof and cap help to prevent squirrel damage and serve to keep seed dry and fresh, while the forest green color blends with any setting. The ingenious lock on the roof keeps animals from lifting the cap and reaching into the tube, pilfering seed. Use the attached 4" metal hanger to hang this feeder, or pole mount it on any pole with a 1" outer diameter (not included).
