Most species of North American Bats are insectivores, eating from 3,000 to 7,000 insects nightly. Our bat habitats are proven effective because each one is manufactured with a unique roughened surface which bats can easily cling to. These houses are solidly constructed for warmth, insulation and durability and open at the bottom so they need no cleaning and the birds will not nest in them.

Latest research indicates that the most successful bat houses are mounted on buildings or are free-standing. The innovative bat tower mounts directly on a 1-1/4" pole or 4x4 post. The post actually becomes the landing platform, and from there bats climb into the house. The four internal chambers and attic provide for multiple roosting opportunities. In addition, the side opens to quell the curiosity of the serious "bat-o-phile."
