Our customers asked and we delivered, with the introduction of the new Red Robin Nature Cam. As great as the Hawk Eye Nature Cam is, it can't be all things to all wildlife enthusiasts. It has, as some of our customers pointed out, two minor drawbacks. It can't be unplugged and brought in out of the elements, and because it has infrared night vision, the Hawk Eye Nature Cam is overly sensitive to the infrared coming from flowers and other plants, giving them a washed-out appearance. The Red Robin II takes care of both those problems.  

Just like the Hawk Eye, the Red Robin Nature Cam comes with 75' of cable which carries electrical power out to the camera and the video and audio signals -- yes, there is a built-in microphone -- back into the television or computer. But, unlike the Hawk Eye, the cable can be unplugged from the Red Robin, making it easy to remove or switch the camera to a new location. 

Because the Red Robin does not have infrared night vision, it produces better color rendition of whatever it is aimed at. 

A 75 ft cable comes with the Red Robin Nature Cam, however, you can daisy chain cables to extend your Red Robin Cam beyond 75 feet. 75 ft. extension cables are available at checkout. 

As with all electronics, the Red Robin must be sheltered from direct exposure to rain, snow, and other moisture.
