Our attractive, double sided Absolute Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder will attract a wide array of birds to your yard, with a locking top and metal spring-activated perches that work together to keep squirrels away. This rugged, all-metal squirrel-proof feeder has two counter balance perches adjustable to three positions to allow light, medium or heavy birds on the perch. The wrong bird or squirrel closes access to seed. Top locks down securely preventing squirrel access and when a squirrel steps onto the perch, a metal shield immediately covers the seed tray, shutting off the seed supply.

Holding up to 12 lbs of birds favorite mixed seed, sunflower seeds, peanut halves or safflower, this large capacity feeder requires less frequent filling. Stop birds from shoveling food out with the no waste seed saver baffle. Simply unlatch the squirrel resistant roof and lift for easy filling and cleaning, while seed level indicator window shows when feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keeps the seed dry and protected from the elements and the all- steel body ensures it will withstand all types of weather and unwanted critters in your backyard for many seasons. Made in the USA!

Adjusting Your Feeder

Absolute feeders are designed to keep out unwanted birds or animals. The springs on either side of the feeder slide out of the slots for adjustment to Light (0-2 oz), Medium (2-4 oz), and Heavy (4+ oz). We suggest a medium-weight setting for general purpose feeding, though you will want to refer to the bird weight table below to ensure all birds you wish to feed are covered in your weight setting. Note: you should use the same weight setting on both sides of each perch.
